Buon compleanno MPK / Happy Birthday MPK

Oggi è il compleanno del mio cantante preferito. Gli ho realizzato questa card, che è una fusione tra biglietto di compleanno e cover di una parte del ritornello di una sua canzone.

Today is my favorite singer’s birthday. I have made this card for him: a mix of birthday card and cover of a part of the refrain of one of his songs.

Biglietto floreale impresso con i Distress Inks / Debossed Distressed Floral Card

Su YouTube ho visto un video su questa tecnica semplice e veloce per creare dei biglietti colorati con le tasche da rilievo a freddo (embossing folders). L’ho sperimentata con un una e un timbro di Altenew e i Distress Oxide Inks.

I have seen a technique video on YouTube and it seemed a really easy and quick way to create colorful cards with embossing folders. I tried it out with one and a stamp by Altenew and some three Distress Oxide Inks.

Ho voluto realizzare una card di compleanno con l’apposita plancia di timbri di Glimps. Ecco il risultato.

Biglietto di compleanno semplice e pulito / Clean and simple one-layer birthday card

Ho recuperato un po’ di Distress Inks avanzati da un altro progetto con un avanzo di carta per acquarelli Buffetti che ho poi timbrato e strappato. Ho incollato il tutto su un biglietto azzurro che ho timbrato con un inchiostro pigmentato bianco. Questo è il biglietto di compleanno di mio zio.

I recycled some Distress Inks from another project with a scrap of Buffetti watercolor paper that I have stamped and torn. I glued it onto a blue folded card that I have stamped with a white pigment ink. This is my uncle’s birthday card.

Una fustellata, due cards / One die-cut, two cards

Da un foglio di carta per acquarelli sul quale ho recuperato un po’ di Distress Inks di un altro progetto, ho realizzato una fustellata, della quale ho usato sia il positivo che il negativo. Ecco i due biglietti realizzati.

I have recycled some Distress Inks from a previous project by smooshing some watercolor paper onto them, then I die-cut it and used the positive and the negative onto two different cards. Here they are.

Card floreale con i Distress Oxide Inks / Floral card with Distress Oxide Inks

Ho voluto giocare con i Distress Oxide Inks: dopo aver embossato il timbro di Altenew, ho colorato tutto lo sfondo con i Distress Oxide Inks e il blending tool, poi ho acquarellato i fiori. Alla fine ho aggiunto il messaggio fustellato dalla gomma crepla e ho decorato con delle gocce di Glossy Accents.

I wanted to play with Distress Oxide Inks and their properties: after having heat-embossed the Altenew floral stamp, i colored the whole background with Distress Oxide inks and a blending tool. Then I watercolored on the top of it with the same inks, added the craft foam sentiment and some droplets of Glossy Accents.

I’ve made the following card for a friend who loves fireflies and whose birthday was yesterday. She got her happy mail on time… luckily.

Biglietto di anniversario un po’ diverso dal solito / Unusual anniversary card

Qualche giorno fa è stato l’anniversario di quando io e il mio compagno ci siamo messi insieme, quindi mi sembrava doveroso fargli un bigliettino con delle pietre raccolte sulla spiaggia dove ci siamo conosciuti.

Some days ago was the anniversary of the day my partner and I became a couple, therefore I had to make him a card. I used some stones I collected last Summer on the beach, where we met for the first time.
